Intro to Sweater Knitting: Make a Raglan

Sweaters can be intimidating but they are also so much fun to knit! In this intro course, you'll learn the key parts of knitting a top down raglan sweater. The Step By Step Sweater by Florence Miller is a simple raglan sweater with no complicated techniques, perfect as your first garment knitting project. It has a relaxed fit and two options for the neckline. 

Requirements: Student should confidently know how to cast-on, knit, purl, and basic increases and decreases.

Supplies: 15% off supplies for class at Hacer.

Needles: US 7 circular needles in 16" and 32" lengths; US 9 circular needles in 16", 32", and 40" lengths

Yarn: Aran or heavy worsted weight yarn in 750 - 1500 yards, size depending. We will send you a copy of the pattern when you register and we can help you choose which size would be the best fit!
